The Burundi’s Intamba mu Rugamba met in Bujumbura for training match readying for the clash against Namibia and Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations 2023.
Burundi is expected to play its Group C matches in Tanzania and Johannesburg, the Intamba mu Rugamba are expected to play against Namibia’s brave warriors on June 4th at Orlando Stadium in South Africa.
Burundi’s national team will then head to Tanzania to continue their preparation before their clash with the indomitable lions of Cameroon slated for June 9th 2022, at Mkapa Stadium in Dar-Es-Salaam.
The head coach of Burundi’s swallows Jimmy Ndayizeye revealed 30 man shortlist of players, twenty eight play outside the country while two play in the local league.
