Burundi Strengthens Healthcare Response Amid Marburg Virus Threat from Rwanda

On September 28, 2024, a vital collaboration took place in Burundi as the Ministry of Health, alongside the World Health Organization (WHO) team, visited the National Center of Gihungwe.

This proactive initiative comes in response to the rising threat of Marburg virus disease, which has recently emerged in neighboring Rwanda.
